A petillant naturel wine named for the weather pattern that helped its creation. The Riesling (95%) from the Toolbrunup Vineyard in Porongurup was picked early to salvage the fruit before another rain event wiped it out completely, while the Cabernet Franc (5%) was sourced from the Merrebee Vineyard in Mount Barker. All the fruit was hand-picked, the Riesling destemmed and pressed directly to tank. This was blended with the Cabernet Franc juice post-fermentation then bottled using the ancestral method.
