A thirst slaking blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah and Graciano from naturally farmed vineyards in Margaret River and the Great Southern. All picked early to retain natural acidity. The grapes are pressed early to minimise extraction of tannins, while some parcels are then steeped on the skins of Malbec and Cabernet Franc, just for fun.
Red and green apple aromas partner the more typical red and blue berry characters. The palate is both generous as well as being full of tension, thanks to the natural acid. The finish is crisp with a hint of chalky tannin. Best enjoyed chilled.
